Hive were appointed to undertake the full MEP design for the refurbishment of Brierly Place in Chelmsford. The works saw all existing MEP stripped out and replaced with new including the lifts.

New high efficiency VRF systems and heat recovery ventilation plant were installed to serve the building. A commercial kitchen and associated dining spaces was installed with a new external generator and plant compound.

The redevelopment took place over a total of 17,000 sqft, In addition to the main internal and external scheme, works also included converting a former external document store to form a shower block and a new external terrace.

It’s fantastic to hear that the building has undergone a transformation to provide an excellent working environment for the tenant. The positive feedback from the staff is truly uplifting.
