Located off St Giles’ in Oxford, the Dolphin Quad is a neo-Georgian style Grade II Listed building dating from 1947-48. It adjoins the Front Quad of St John’s College and is set over four storeys and a basement, comprising accommodation and teaching rooms.

The building was stripped out and all MEP services replaced with new, whilst sensitively preserving the building’s character and aesthetics. Upgrades to the central plant will aid in reducing the building’s energy demand, through efficient design and implementation of control systems. Hive was delighted to take on an all-encompassing role, overseeing all aspects of the works from concept to completion.
