Matthew Lubbock Director

B.Eng. (Hons), C.Eng., MIET

As a board director, Matt leads teams in a multi-discipline environment delivering major building projects throughout the UK and Europe.

He started his career as an apprentice electrician and after completing his time on the tools as a shift foreman went on to complete his ONC and HNC in electronic and electrical engineering and ultimately completing his honours degree in Building Services Engineering. During this time he worked in various consulting engineering practices including Bailey Gomm, Mott McDonald and Maleon. During this time Matthew has lead numerous multidisciplinary design teams and has delivered large scale project in Commercial, Laboratory and Data Centres in both the UK and EMEA arenas.

As a co-founder of Hive Consultants in 2017 Matthew prides himself on the delivery of reliable and practical engineering solutions to his clients engineering requirements and relishes the challenges which the future, and perhaps most notably the decarbonising era which we are faced with.
